Since the establishment of the Schönbrunn Palace Concerts, the daily performances of the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra play an essential role in Vienna’s cultural and musical life.

Along with the most popular operetta arias, waltzes and polkas, you’ll hear some of the most marvelous overtures, arias and duets from the operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. “Le Nozze di Figaro”, “Die Zauberflöte” and “Don Giovanni” to name a few!

On-site usage

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the concert start at the Schönbrunn Orangery (Side note: on certain days the Concert might take place in the Great Gallery or in the White-and-Gold Room in the Schönbrunn Palace main building)
  • One of the employees will welcome you at the entrance of the Schönbrunn Orangery. It’s right across from the metro station “Schönbrunn” of line U4
  • Your ticket is your entrance ticket for the Concert. Please show it to the employee who will greet you at the entrance

Depending on the day, the concert takes place in the Large Gallery, White-Gold Room, Schönbrunn Palace Theatre, or other concert halls within the venue.
